Located in a rural area, near Nadiad town, Gujarat; the workplace of Tobacco Merchant is surrounded by tobacco processing plants. Though the building was planned four years ago, it was not in use and the client approached the Ace team to make it functional for their corporate office with an outdoor interactive space. Ace Associates integrates smart technology and innovative design concepts for IT consultant Collabera’s Baroda Office. It comprises ground plus nine storeys with a built-up area of approximately 51,380 sq. ft. The designers decided to break away from the norm of employing brown and other dark tones for an office space. Instead, simple, straight lines and a white colour scheme along with the use of blue, which is the brand colour, seems to characterize this office space.Read More

Sumi-e is an ancient Asian art form of pen and ink drawings. It is minimalistic, comprising the fewest brush strokes in monochrome to capture the essence of a subject. sumi-e paintings are characterized by the contrast of dark and light and the vast empty spaces left in their composition. The pictorial emptiness represents the Buddhist philosophy of detachment while the brush strokes capture feelings visually.Read More

This villa in Gujarat echoes a strong Balinese influence that is accentuated by its tranquil surroundings. Utilizing a 60,000 sq ft plot, architect Ashish Patel and Nikhil Patel of Ace Associates designed a 18,000 sq ft residence in Anand, Gujarat. To create a resort-like ambience, Patel has designed a traditional home with sloping roofs and has extensively used wood for the exteriors as well as interiors. a central garden acts as the focal point and houses the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and bar.Read More
